    Responsibilities

    As our Sales Coordinator Leader, you will be responsible for maximising the sales growth in penetration, volume and profitability. Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Director, you will facilitate the relationship between Opel Financial Services (OFS) and the dealers’ network and with the OEM’s Sales Manager.

    The responsibilities will include:

    • Applying the commercial strategy defined by the Sales and Marketing Director by developing an annual business plan with the sales team to identify key growth opportunities and create forecasts for country performance.
    • Manages the relationship with the Opel dealers network
    • Identifies major retail and commercial new business opportunities in line with OFS and corporate strategy to include OEM’s.
    • Reviews competitor plans and maintains in depth knowledge of the market in terms of retail and wholesale products.
    • Gives continuous feedback to the management about field situation as well as monthly forecast on a daily basis.
    • Understand dealers’ financial problems (treasury, etc.) with capacity to advice the dealer on financial aspects (P&L analysis) and credit line management.
    • Anticipate and be able to explain the discrepancy in dealers’ retail performance proposing systematically the required action plan.
    • Review and provide feedback to the management on the performance of all dealers in line with the target and provide detailed recommendations to improve performance and growth.
    • Lead a team of 9 Zone Managers; supporting and managing team priorities, work allocation and stakeholder expectations in terms of deliverables.
    • Ensure ongoing adherence to all relevant compliance regulations that may govern the OFS business and complete all regulatory knowledge training where applicable in a timely fashion.

    Qualifications

    • University degree in a relevant subject 
    • Business and project management experience with proven delivery outcomes
    • Automotive finance experience
    • Good experience and knowledge of the motor vehicle industry including fleet
    • Good experience and knowledge of retailer based commercial and retail financing
    • Experience of managing a large diverse, field based team with strong leadership skills
    • Strategic sales and marketing skills
    • Analytical and planning skills
    • Good negotiation skills – capacity to convince
    • Good management and risk management skills
    • Financial analysis skills
    • Ability to lead projects to develop products
    • High level of product knowledge – risk management, finance & insurance, retail finance programs, retail leasing programs and credit granting programs
    • Proficient in country profitability model, marketing systems and survey analysis
    • Excellent communication and liaising skills
    • Ability to liaise with all levels for the delivery of agreed objectives
    • Proficient in Spanish and fluent in English
