    Responsibilities

    We have an opportunity for a 12 month internship as a Payroll (HR) Intern to start as soon as possible in a busy European Payroll team.

     

    This is a great opportunity to not only learn about the Payroll function but to be part of a European company. There are always new projects and initiatives that you can become involved in whilst undertaking the internship. This opportunity will enable the successful candidate to gain rounded payroll experience of the UK, Ireland and Sweden whilst gaining an insight into the payroll processing of our European entities.

     

    Key duties and responsibilities include;

    • Support the administrative process for; UK, Ireland and Sweden payroll production, pension auto-enrolment, year-end reporting, payroll audit and benefit contribution reconciliation.
    • Reviewing and reconciling entries in the Time and Attendance system offering support to Employees and Managers.
    • Assist with the audit of employee data in HR, Payroll, Time and Attendance and Benefit systems ensuring data integrity and accuracy across all systems.
    • Liaise with employees, managers and other functions across the business providing support and requested
    • Participate in ongoing projects as required
    • Interpret and apply HR/Payroll policies and procedures. 
    • Meet work demands according to the highest standards, maintain confidentiality, viewed as trustworthy, acts with honesty and integrity in all situations.

    Qualifications

    We are looking for someone who can work within a high volume, fast paced payroll team who can demonstrate resilience and flexibility to help manage the administrative workload. You will be able to demonstrate initiative and personal accountability and able to effectively use a variety of Microsoft packages such as Excel and Word. You will be able to meet work demands according to the highest standards, maintaining confidentiality, viewed as trustworthy and act with honesty and integrity in all situations. 

     

    With an academic background within a relevant subject such as Human Resources, Accountancy or Business Management, this is a great opportunity for you to gain your first practical experience in within a payroll department.
