We are the automotive finance captive organisation of Opel and Vauxhall, supported by Groupe PSA and BNP Paribas as our strong partners and shareholders. Our team of around 1,200 employees across Europe are committed to meet the mobility needs of our customers, while sustaining and developing the Opel and Vauxhall brands through competitive and attractive automotive finance solutions.
We are proud to work in an environment that fosters and promotes our values in a way that is led by our employees. We promote a collaborative culture of people who actively contribute with integrity. We are agile, open minded and adaptive to deliver at pace, with customers at the heart of all we do. Our recent awards demonstrate the commitment of our employees. These include the Best Company to Work for in Car Finance and the Best Company to work for in Financial Services awards as well as the Investors in People | Gold Accreditation in the UK.
We are small enough for an individual to make a mark; large enough to develop a challenging and rewarding career.
As our Payroll Assistant (Analyst), you will support the European Payroll Manager with all payroll activities for the UK, Ireland and Sweden for approx. 500+ employees.
We use a variety of different systems for HR, payroll, benefits and time and attendance processing purposes; therefore you will ensure data accuracy across all systems and work closely with third-party vendors to resolve service and data issues.
In addition, you will support the payroll auditing activities for our European offices; liaising with a wide range of customers across the business to ensure first class service is provided. It is also important that you pro-actively participate in the payroll related projects, and the implementation of continuous improvement for the payroll function.
For this role we are flexible with the level of experience you might have in payroll, but some of the key skills will be the ability to maintain excellent attention to detail whilst navigating between various sources of information. You will have a natural flair for data review and analysis with the ability to use Excel and general systems at an intermediate level.
The ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet critical deadlines efficiently is highly important. You’ll be able to take initiative and demonstrate confidence when working with all levels of the business. You will also be able to work independently and collaboratively with your peers in a fast-paced environment.
