    Responsibilities

    As our Procurement Specialist, you will report into the Chief Procurement Officer to support the European business owners to meet their operational objectives by:

    • Managing and overseeing the procure to pay process within SAP for central IT and local sourcing requirements
    • Negotiation of tier 2 supplier agreements
    • Central support of the procurement team and business users
    • Dedicated support to the UK Procurement Manager in relation to the coordination of requests for quotation, supplier selection processes and documentation necessary to adhere to group procurement policies and procedures. 

    Ad hoc travel to our Potsdam office and to local suppliers will be required.

    Qualifications

    As a purchasing/procurement generalist, you will be able to demonstrate a good knowledge of processes and methodologies to source products & services. The ability to effectively manage supplier and stakeholder relationships for the European business is highly important for this role.

     

    You will be either fully CIPS qualified, or working towards the qualification with experience of using sourcing and contracting systems such as SAP. In addition, you’ll be able to demonstrate a natural flair for data analysis with a flexible and collaborative approach to the changing needs of the business.

     

    As we are a multi-country operation, fluency in English and German is a must; other European languages are an additional asset
